Ahead of the UNOC 3 Ocean Conference, Responsible Capital ran a quick stocktake across 60 global companies to assess the state of ocean-related reporting.

Neural Alpha leveraged our leading experience in the fields of connected data and finance to build a solution which made use of graph data. This technology allowed us to efficiently model the supply chain and financial links between entities as well as to flexibly query the data to provide in depth insights to users.

Just Capital used Neural Alpha's AI platform to scale their corporate performance analysis across 1,000 Russell 1000 companies. Previously, producing ~100 ESG and stakeholder indicators at that scale required stitching together multiple data sources and heavy manual work. By implementing their methodology on Neural Alpha's platform, they were able to analyse over 400,000 documents and extract close to 100,000 individual data points consolidating vendors, reducing cost and complexity, and speeding up the process significantly. The approach kept humans in the loop throughout, with automated outputs validated against expert assessments. The end result is a scalable, repeatable pipeline that frees Just Capital's analysts to focus on methodology and interpretation rather than data collection.
