James founded Neural Alpha to bring Connected Data solutions to the financial sector with a particular focus on sustainable investing. He has a track record of delivering innovative data solutions particularly within the financial sector having consulted extensively at many of the world's largest Investment Banks, Mutual Funds and Hedge Funds. Prior to Consulting he was Head of Data at Man Group plc following roles at Thomson Reuters. James is the Event Director of Connected Data London and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics & Economic History from the University of York. Outside of work he is a keen Moth sailor competing internationally.

Richard is the COO at Neural Alpha. Having spent a number of years at Unilever in various finance roles Richard specialized in private equity honing his skills in strategic financial management expertise in overseeing both the investment funds and corporate finance responsibilities at senior management committee level. Richard has been an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 1997. Outside of work he enjoys mountain biking, sails occasionally and plays the guitar.

Adam is Lead Engineer at Neural Alpha, he leads the company's technical direction and joined in 2019. He was the founding architect of our platform, leading the development from concept to revenue with enterprise clients. Over the years Adam has also lead many successful consultancy projects in partnership with organisations including SEI, Just Capital and others. His work spans LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, knowledge graph engineering, and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. He holds an MSci in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) with First Class Honours from King's College London and is a published researcher, co-authoring a 2026 paper in Climatic Change on scaling knowledge interoperability for climate action. Outside of work Adam enjoys bouldering, gaming, and tinkering with his homelab.

Jonathan currently heads up Fintech projects at Neural Alpha. He is an experienced Full Stack Developer and Solutions Architect, capable of managing high performance teams, with a proven history of proposing and developing complex software solutions for big name brands in UK Manufacturing. Outside of work Jonathan is a Dad of three and when ever possible enjoys throwing his children into open water, or dragging them up mountains.

Nawar Alsaadi is the CEO and Founder of Kanata Advisors, a sustainable fintech advisory firm based in Toronto, Canada. Prior to founding Kanata, Nawar held several senior ESG-related positions, including Chief Impact Officer at ScopeFour Capital, Senior Portfolio Manager for ESG Investing at Canada Post Pension Plan, and Director of ESG Insights at NEI Investments, among other executive and advisory roles. Nawar holds a Master of Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business (Boston University). Additionally, he holds certifications in CFA ESG and CFA Climate, a Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) from Concordia University, and an FSA Credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). He is also the author of five books and has been recognized as a 'Top Corporate Sustainability Voice' on LinkedIn.

James Lawson is the co-founder and former CEO and Managing Partner of Tribe Impact Capital, an award-winning B Corp impact wealth manager in the UK. His background in enterprise and investment began at UBS in 1999. He later founded the insights business Ledbury Research and sold it to Insight Partners in 2014. James is a trustee of The Fore and an advisor to Palindrome AI.
